The Venice Glass Week 2019 – III° edizione

On the occasion of the third edition of The Venice Glass Week – international festival dedicated to the art of glass scheduled in Venice from 7 to 15 September 2019 – the Hotel Saturnia & International displays “Purho presents the Royal Family – design Karim Rashid ” in collaboration with AtemporaryStudio. The exhibition, designed for the windows of La Caravella restaurant, which is located inside the hotel, offers a selection of Murano glass vases designed by Karim Rashid for Purho. Kount, Kountess and Knight are the names of the creations born from the designer’s creativity, part of the largest collection called The Royal Family. An extremely prolific designer, Rashid has more than 3000 projects in production; he has received more than 300 awards and worked in over 40 countries. These numbers, which attest his extraordinary talent, are here exalted by the magnificence of Murano glass.
